So Dad and I went to look at cars again today, but before we left he called our local Autobarn guy and had a chat to him to see if he had any advice, and he said not to buy a Daewoo or a Kia and totally slammed Protons into the ground. So that eliminated both the frontrunners and a couple on the hit list in one foul swoop. I then called a couple of the dealers of cars I had shortlisted but not looked at yet to see what their mileage was as they hadn't listed it online (always a bad sign), and they were both well over 200,000km which out them out of the running. This left us with litterally nothing.

After a new search I found a sweet looking Excel with a bunch of extras, but when I called he had sold it the night before. So I tried a dozen other databases but after about five it was basically all the same cars. Did find a Ford Festiva though, so we went out and looked at that. It's not bad, but it's pretty small and slightly cramped. It's OK, I'd buy it if there was nothing else, but I'm really not wild about it and I think we can do better, this would be settling. If only I wasn't so damned tall.

So now I wait until something new comes on the market, and try looking in different places like the newspaper (which I hate doing because there's next to no info, no photo and tends to be dodgier) and seriously consider bumping the price range up a little, which I really can't afford but might just have to. Dammit, it was so easy before this morning - check the few cars I hadn't yet looked, make a decision between the Cielo and the Mentor and any late additions, get the RAC check, buy. Now it's fucking retarded and will take ages longer.

Also, Saturday, which is really the only day we have to look at cars without Dad taking time off work like today, has been completely destroyed by yet another round of fucking stupid and annoying meetings.

I'm really pissed off. Sick of all this shit. Enough already, it's been one fucking disaster after inconvenience after irritation after dissapointment since I left DC.
