I saw a Saturn Sky in person today. I didn't know they were even on sale yet. It was black, and I found it somewhere around Temple. We drove together, trading leadership roles, until I spilt off on I-35W to head to Fort Worth. It was a great drive, but I was tense the entire time. The car looked remarkably like a Solstice from the back - I wondered what someone had done to a Solstice at first. From the front (in a rear view mirror, at least), it looked like someone had done something odd to a Corvette.

I arrived at my paternal grandparents' house about 30 minutes before my parents. We eventually had lunch, and then my uncle and my grandmother got a ride in my car (one at a time, obviously). Both were impressed with both the car and my driving (Yay!). My grandmother's husband had a lot to teach me about engines, and showed me diagrams of some '40s and '50s engines in Fords, Chevys, and Cryslers.

Then I followed my dad from my paternal grandparents' to my aunt's. There was a good deal of traffic, and the roadway was under construction, so it's pretty unpredictable. It ended up being a very difficult drive with a lot of close calls, and I'm feeling really frazzled.
