But since my last post I also bought a white mercedes so I think it s time to talk about my cars:

MY 2008 Mercedes Benz C320 CDI 4-matic 7-gtronic Elegance Arctic White

Long name, huh ? Actually I was looking for a family car that would be large enough to accomodate my small family (my whife, my daughter and myself), fast enough to satisfy my passion for speed (+200 bhp). My options where: used Audi A6 3.0 TDI quattro, VW Passat CC 2.0 TFSI or 3.6 FSI 4-motion, Audi A4 2.0 TFSI
I didn t even bothered to check out the C-class because it was too damn expensive. Fortunately one of my friends told me about this seriously discounted car (about 30% off) and after exactly one week I was driving the car.

It s a very refined car, it has 224 HP but it s so easy to drive that even a drunken monkey could drive it (not that I encourage drunks or monkeys or drunken monkeys to drive). You never feel that you re going very fast, at most you ll be annoyed that the rest of the world is moving very very slow. You can do over 200 km/h and still be able to listen to music or chat with the passengers (not that I encourage anybody to go with that sort of speed).

Shortly after I bought it also had the opportunity to test it out on a racetrack (Euroring, about 30 km s from Budapest). It s a car that can deliver great laptimes, unfortunately it s not exactly a track-car. Since you have no sense of speed you have to check the speedo before every corner. Altough it corners very well, and the all-wheel drive system was tuned to be more like a rear-wheel drive car (55% of the power goes to the rear wheels), the car feels muc
