This past weekend was awesome! The Ford car show in Carlisle was amazing as usually. 100+ acres of Ford automobiles packed into the Carlisle Faigrounds. *Note: This is the fairgrounds minus all the cars, uh-dur!

Sooooooo many nice cars, and a great time was had hanging out with the folks from my car club. I want to say that we had something on the order of 60 Focus there this year. That makes our largest showing that I've seen. Still nothing compared to the 2,500 - 3,000 Mustangs that are normally at this show, but hey, its' a start! Our tent theme this year; Beach Party.

And what a beach party it was! CRAZY fun with inflatables and my roof rach, LOL.

And one of the highlights of my weekend; A test drive in the 2011 Ford Fiesta! This was the 2010 Euro Spec model that they had for the show here, but this little brother to the Focus has some great handling characteristics and a cool overall design. If I wasn't holding out for the next global model of the Focus in 2012, I'd really consider one of these.

Lorna says that the gauge cluster looks like Wall-E's eyes.

And to my surprise, the test model they had was even a 5-speed manual. SCORE!!!

Took some time in the afternoon to drive around with some friends and shoot some cool pics of our cars in a few different locales around Carlisle. I'll post them up tomorrow sometime once I've finished editting them.
