After having a certainly interesting news week so far, Aston Martin reminds you what they re REALLY all about..

Aston Martin on Friday announced upcoming editions of both the V12 Vantage and DBS sports cars. These limited editions are called Carbon Black editions, and both feature an exclusive Carbon Black Metallic paint job. On the inside, both models receive carbon-kevlar seats wrapped in Obsidian black leather with silver stitching, anodized black tread plates, carbon themed door sill garnishes, and the dashboard and center console trims are finished in piano black. Aston hasn t revealed how much these special editions will run for, and they haven t yet revealed how much they re making. For sure though, they ll sell like hotcakes!

Aston certainly had an interesting week thus far, however these two special editions show that Aston indeed still knows what they re doing. The DBS in particular wets my pants. I love the DBS, it s probably in my top 3 favorite cars at the moment (right there with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 and Audi R8 V10). I ve always thought silver was THE color to get it in, but after seeing this Carbon Black one, I ve changed my mind, I want it in black. It looks absolutely beautiful. Curse you Aston! You ve teased me yet again!! ARGH!
